The "old Papers", Memory of the Aquitaine,
To discover, safeguard and share the Private Individual Memories…

The principal objective is to allow a large number of people to consult private archives or private individual collections.

The other objective is to develop a sensitization in favor of the ancient documents, in particular by encouraging their donation into public archives.
We want to initiate the young public to the discovery of this type of document.
It should lead them to be aware of the richness of their inheritance and the memory transmitted, thus to make them responsible citizens.

This web-site is the safeguard of rare private archives of noble and upper middle class families and companies of the Aquitaine region.

Private collections gathered and saved the "wrecks" of testimonies of an everyday life not so far from ourdays.

Our site can thus allow the development of a memory of the greatest number and proximity.
